Jim Harris has been successfully developing and investing in real estate since 1977. He founded James R. Harris Partners, L.L.C. in 1979. With experience in the title, real estate, and homebuilding industries, he has become especially adept at anticipating and capitalizing on new trends in land use.
Jim stays abreast of issues affecting these industries and has long been active in the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association, the Urban Land Institute, and the ULI North Texas District Council. His reputation for integrity and knowledge has led to his appointment to numerous community boards and committees related to zoning and development policies. He has served on the Mayor's Task Force for Affordable Housing and as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Fort Worth Housing Authority.
With his solid track record, long-standing connections, and acute ability to spot and seize developing opportunities, Jim takes pride and pleasure in knowing the ins and outs, the rules and the exceptions, in successful and responsible land use. Justin Welborn, a partner of James R. Harris Partners, is involved in acquisition, entitlement, development, and disposition of residential land projects. He has been a managing partner for six entities and more than 2,500 single-family lots.
His education and experience have provided him with intimate knowledge of a developer's responsibilities. He has superior understanding of plans and how to guide them through a city approval process, as well as the ability to look at a piece of land and accurately assess its potential and its challenges.
Prior to joining Harris Partners in 2006, Welborn worked as a project manager for a publically traded homebuilder and as a residential development engineer at a local engineering consulting firm. Active in professional and public affairs, he is a member of the Keep North Richland Hills Beautiful Commission, the Urban Land Institute, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Licensed as a professional engineer in Texas, Welborn graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a master’s in business administration.
A native of North Richland Hills, Texas, he is married and has one daughter.

Since 2003, Joe Straub has been a partner with Harris, Nicol, & Straub, L.L.C. in Austin Texas. With over 23 years of highly diversified and responsive management experience he has been involved in all aspects of real estate development, including sales, marketing, and management. Currently he is area partner and co-managing partner of three projects outside of Austin, Texas.
Joe graduated with a BS in Business Management and Civil Engineering degree from Kansas State University.

Laura Minor serves as the Controller of James R Harris Partners, LLC. With over 35 years experience as a CPA, Laura manages all aspects of the company’s financial records and reporting.
Prior to joining James R Harris Partners, LLC, Laura worked in both private and public accounting, including one the “Big Four” CPA firms. She has previous experience in many industries including real estate, mortgage banking, oil and gas, banks, and private equity investments.
Laura graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA in Accounting with high honors. Laura is actively involved in the Fort Worth Chapter of CPAs and the Financial Executives Institute. She was instrumental in implementing the annual Free CPE Day at the Fort Worth Chapter. She has served on several committees including the Membership committee and the Free CPE Day committee for many years. She was a graduate of the Leadership Development class of 2007. Andrew manages the development and investment activities of Presidio Interests, LLC, which is engaged in new commercial development and the redevelopment of older buildings. His focus is on urban infill projects that blend aesthetic integrity, functionality, and economic value. He oversees all aspects of the company's investment and development activities, including new acquisitions, construction, management, and leasing.
He has served in brokerage and portfolio management roles for several commercial real estate firms in Texas and California, including Trammell Crow Company and CarrAmerica Reality. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and Urban Green, a non-profit engaged in creating and improving Fort Worth's public green spaces.
Andrew holds an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A from the University of Texas at Austin.

As Asset and Property Manager for James R. Harris Partners and HF Management Cos, LTD. Mark is involved in raw land acquisition, redevelopment and management, analysis of potential properties, lease negotiation, partnership establishment, and investor relations.
Mark was formerly a retail broker with the Woodmont Company. He also has previous experience as a construction superintendent with D. R. Horton Homes in San Antonio, Texas and Choice Homes in San Antonio. He is currently a Certified Commercial Investment Member candidate and a member of Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers.

Tyler Arbogast serves as Development Director at James R. Harris Partners, LLC. Mr. Arbogast manages multiple residential developments, as well as provides analysis and due diligence on prospective residential and commercial projects.
Mr. Arbogast began his career in 2003 at Trinity Works where he evolved from a project financial analyst to a development project manager. His exposure to all aspects of Trinity Works’ business units from development to capital markets to consulting provided him with a broad base of client and partner experience across the real estate profession.
Mr. Arbogast has been principally focused on the development of large-scale master-planned communities engaging in planning, entitlement, financial analysis and budgeting, infrastructure construction, branding and project marketing.
Mr. Arbogast has conducted extensive research on existing mass transit systems throughout the United States and their Transit Oriented Development projects. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), formerly serving the North Texas District Council of ULI as Treasurer and then as Chairman for the Young Leaders Group. Mr. Arbogast is also active within the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth, formerly serving as Chair of the Young Leaders Council. Mr. Arbogast is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Texas and a LEED AP.
He has bachelor degrees in both Economics and Organizational Studies from the University of Michigan.
Mr. Arbogast is married to his beautiful wife, Lisa, with whom he has a son, William. They reside in the Wedgwood neighborhood in southwest Fort Worth.

Fort Worth native Michael Dike is the principal partner with Village Homes, L. P. He worked as a builder for Newmark Home Corporation in Austin before returning to Fort Worth and starting Village Homes with Jim Harris in 1996.
Michael draws on his background in business and construction management to handle finance and operations for the company. He and his partners continually seek to sharpen their knowledge and their business practices; thus they are active in Builder 20, an National Association of Home Builders professional organization that brings together similar, non-competitive builders from different markets to share information on best practices.
Michael earned a B.B.A. in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992.
